Dry baby, happy baby

Children are a boon; their innocence paired with their curiosity is a god sent gift for us adults who are so busy with their tasks that they forget to enjoy little things that life has to offer. I have made a list of a few activities that you can enjoy with your kid on a daily basis, which in turn will help you as well as your child develop as better individuals:
1. Catch an episode of their favourite comedy show- Kids love watching the television, and what they'd further grow to appreciate is you taking our time from your busy schedule to sit and trying to enjoy their favourite comedy show. Maybe you won't like it but it is a great bonding exercise and also, some comedy never hurts anyone. After all, laughter is the best medicine. Also, you would figure out what entices your child and can plan things accordingly for him or her.

2. Read that book which your child needs to but in disguise- We have got a lot of things happening in this world; some good, some bad. Sure we want our children to be exposed to all things good, we also need to make them aware of things which can go wrong. Utilize their availability of ample of time to read them something which makes them aware of the negatives but in a disguised and subtle manner. Along with being a good fun activity and a great bonding exercise, your kid actually learns something subconsciously.

3. Put on some good music- This one is just like catching their favourite comedy show, but works in your favour as your get to choose. Put on some nice music, can be anything from the classic rock ballads to lovely retro melodies, or even classics like Mozart! Not only these tunes will help you bond better with your child but in the long term inculcate a good taste in music as well, as they grow up to appreciate diverse genres of music. You can also squeeze in some dance routines and have a blast practicing a divers range of dance steps borrowed from Salman Khan or Shahrukh Khan. Or maybe you can teach them a bit of Macarena and Ketchup dance too.

4. Milk and some chatter- Take time off your busy schedule and try to cram in some chatter with your little ones when they are drinking their glass of milk. Talk to them about their day, try asking them what captured their imagination that day, inquire what would they like to do on the coming weekend or just plainly ask about school. This is an amazing bonding exercise and helps immensely if you are a working mother.

Of course to enjoy these activities it is imperative that your baby is in a happy mood, which is not at all possible with wet nappies. Enter Pampers Baby Dry Pants with magic gel technology which absorbs everything and keeps your child dry for upto 12 hours!
