The following are the top 5 things on my bucket list as of now that I would love to tick off but cannot because of some or the other constraints:
1. Launch a Food channel- One thing I want to do is launch my own food channel, Sanjeev Kapoor style. Why wouldn't I? After all I am a big foodie and I love cooking. Wouldn't it be great if I were able to hand pick food related shows for the audience (as well as myself) which would go all day long? I can already envision Jamie Oliver, David Rocco, Nigella Lawson, Vikas Khanna and Gordon Ramsay cooking all day on my Food channel.
2. Name a comet after me- I know this one sounds very crazy, but this is something that shall immortalize me forever. Hello, Haley's Comet? Yes, you must have certainly heard of Haley's Comet, the one which is to be seen in the sky every 175 years or so. Hasn't naming this plain vanilla celestial body immortalize Haley? So you see my point? Plus having a comet named after you should be an out of the world experience altogether, right? After all your name is being stretched to a celestial body!
3. Build a garden- I love mother nature; the ideal of being surrounded by plants, clear blue skies and lovely water bodies calms me down and soothes my mind no matter how turbulent the situation is in which I am in. If I could, I'd build my own garden filled with lovely English Roses, Chrysanthemums,Tiger lilies, lotus ponds, lavender, etc. Very much like a Jane Austen-inspired English garden with pebbled pathways and lovely water fountains. Also I would love to have a waterfall and a beautiful picnic area for my afternoon tea. Who wouldn't want to spend their afternoons surrounded by such a luxury and having scones and tea? I don't know about you, but I certainly would want to.
4. Produce my own movie- How many times have you got out of a theater after watching a movie and exclaim to your friend or the person with whom you went for the movie "I can make a better movie!"? Very often, specially during the winters when most of the movies that are released are pointless masala movies. It has been a dream of mine since I learned about movies to make my own one day. I don't want to act per se (if I get to it shall be a bonus), but want to create a movie with such a beautiful and extraordinary script that manages to bag the Oscar for India (who says a girl can't dream?).
5. Acquire Google- I know, I know, I have been getting a lot of eyes from you every time I mention things from my bucket list and this one is no exception either, after all, who even thinks of this? But hey, everyone's bucket list has some crazy stuff and this one is mine. Owning Google is not something that easy but it is my desire to acquire this search engine which has become synonymous with the internet!
